2.Structure and features

The column & boom is composed by column, boom, guider block, trolley, elevator, extend, column rotator, trolley driver, etc.

The column, boom, guider block and trolley are welded and strength released.

There is protective lumen inside the column, which can keep the balancer from locking in it.

The elevation is driven by worm reducer through chain & wheel. And the motor is with brake, the reducer can be self locked also. Hence, the boom can be locked at any location. There is anti-drop to prevent the boom from dropping if chain breaks off.

The boom extension is driven by gear-worm reducer through gear and rack. By using AC motor and inverter, the speed can be stepless adjusted in a wide range.

The rectangular guides on the column and boom, is 16Mn material, which is high strength. And there are grease charge holes on the wheels which are convenient for maintenance.

There is safe guard on the ladder. And safe covers are provided on transmission parts.

Column rotate is by manual with rotating bearing. There is manual lock also.

There are safe hooks on trolley, which can prevent the machine from over turning. And the upper closing plate is anti-sliding and can be opened freely for repair or maintenance. The travel of trolley is driven by motor with reducer.

There is operation platform under the column, with welding power and control cabinet on. The platform rotate together with the column.

Electrical control system is composed by cabinet and remote box. Motors and inverters are from Taiwan, electrical parts are from Siemens or Schneider.
